Gareth Writer-Davies Letchworth (UK) poet

AT THE END OF YOUR BED

there is a wall

when I wake up
the first thing I see
is a cherry tree

there is white blossom
upon the old crooked bough

there are no birds
but you could imagine them

feeding their babies
red ripe cherries

I wonder why you placed that picture on that wall

Gareth Writer-Davies is a small press UK poet; much of his work can be found
right here.
